Debenhams launched their women’s trouser suit this week, which is made entirely from recycled bottles that would have thrown in the landfill, had they not been recycled and reused to create this new fashion item.

The suit, which costs a credit-crunch friendly f55 was made by grounding down around 50 bottles into chips, which are melted at a plant in Taiwan.

The mixture is then woven and refined into a type of polyester, reports the Daily Mail.
Aside from the green elements of the suit, the price is sure to attract many, with a spokesman for Debenhams claiming that the suit will tempt the “fashion conscious” shopper and “would not look out of place in the boardroom”.

Elena Antoniou, a spokesman for the store, said to the Daily Mail: “We are proud of our creation as it’s right on trend in terms of fashion, and kind to the environment, without costing the earth.

“If it proves popular amongst our customers then there’s no reason why we couldn’t extend it to menswear, so watch this space.”

With suits more fashionable than ever on the runway this season, we predict stylish workwear will be a must-have for the summer months ahead.

At the opening of the New York Topshop store the model and designer explained: “They are new, but I didn’t buy them. It’s very strange.

“All of a sudden, they just sprung up… I’ve got boobs which I never had. I was the most flat-chested of them all.”

Kate has also had to yet again defend herself from the pregnancy rumours which come hand in hand with bigger boobs.

She joked: “I’ve been pregnant for two years,” she joked. “Ever since I met my boyfriend, I’ve been pregnant… I’m not!”

The fashion designer is also planning to close down his flagship store on Elizabeth Street, to focus on new challenges.

He will instead expand his interior design business, in addition to painting and sculpting for a one-man art show, which he hopes to debut in the West End in the autumn.

Despite closing down his main line, he will continue to produce his best-selling BDL by Ben de Lisi collection for Debenhams.

Ben told Vogue: “This is a very exciting time for me, as I have decided that I would like to take life a bit easier and concentrate on the very many other aspects of the Ben de Lisi brand,”

He added: “Ben de Lisi is not only about red carpet dresses – it is much, much more. I am so excited to be in this enviable position to do what I love and to make the changes to suit where my life is right now.”

Carine said: “I only wear jeans and flat shoes when I am on holiday, never for work. Jeans suit me very well but it’s not for me anymore. It’s horrible to say but it has something to do with age.”

She added: “Jeans are for my assistants…”

Carine said on her own style: “If people ask me to describe my look I always say: quite classic with an edge. Look at my dress. It doesn’t look like I have on anything special, it’s more the way you mix the clothes and how you move, how you open your bag, how you cross your legs – just little things that make a difference. “

The editor also put paid to rumours she weighs members of staff in her office: “People think I weigh my girls in the office but I do not. We have a scale in the office because we travel a lot and sometimes you can’t bring more than 25 kilos a case. It’s just to weigh my luggage, not to weigh my editors.”

The supermodel says one of her top tips to looking good is to apply different types of cosmetics for different events as she likes to separate her looks.

She told Stylist magazine: “My advice is to always keep it simple. I drink about three litres of water a day, and use good sun protection. I also believe every woman should wear different types of foundation according to her day. At a press conference yesterday, Lily opened up about working with Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law, as replacement actors for Ledger.

She described the experience as: “weird and difficult. You’re mourning somebody but at the same time you’re immediately going back to work.

“It’s such an unusual environment where you’re presented with actors who are playing reminders of that character and that person,” reports Fashionologie.

The Brit designer will join Giles Deacon, Elle’s editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy and River Island’s CEO Richard Bradbury on the judging panel for this year’s River Island Gold Award.

The best fashion design graduates from all over the country will desend on London’s Earl Court next week to mark the end of year’s of hard study and show off their final collections.

University of Central Lancashire graduate, Samantha Brady told Female First how excited she is to be showing on Monday: “I can’t wait! It’s a huge honour,” she said, “It marks the end of a lot of hard work so it will be a great relief to finally get my collection on the catwalk.”

American football star Tom Brady, who married the Brazilian beauty in February, doesn’t feel comfortable posing for photo shoots and hopes Gisele will boost his confidence in front of the camera.

He said: “When I am out on the football field I have so much confidence in what I am doing. With photo shoots, I don’t know what I am doing. I’m at the whim of the photographer and the crew.

“I should probably ask her for some help. She does tell me to have fun and to approach it in the third person, almost like acting. She makes it look so easy.”We have been through a lot together. That has been a nice settling part of my life as well.
